A Message from Stuart Brackstone
Brethren one and all,

On the 17th February 2010, as the nominated Captain of Stewards, I presented a Brief to the Provincial Executive regarding my thoughts for the Stewarding arrangements for the initial meeting at the Floral Hall, Southport to be held on 5th May 2010. The outcome of the provincial meetings, have been subsequently reviewed with the Secretariat, but generally the original concept remained the modus operandi for future meetings.

Yesterdays meeting was my seventh as Captain Stewards and without doubt one of the best, if not the best stewarded meeting of all.
I must express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who assisted me yesterday, I could not wish for a better team of volunteers, who have successfully helped me over the years.

The Brethren from the Southport Group have integrated so wonderfully with members of the Philadelphia Lodge of Installed Masters No 1646, to achieve the success we have provided and enjoyed in a true Mark spirit. Brian Molyneux and his successor, Kevin Collins, have been stalwarts regarding interfacing with the Southport volunteers, as has David Rotheram coordinating the support from Philadelphia Lodge of I M M’s, to all of whom I owe a deep debt of gratitude. But, none of this success would have been possible without the individual support and commitment from all those who have readily helped and assisted me over the years. To each of you I congratulate and thank you for that loyal support.
We learn that Masonry is a progressive science and it only right and proper that I hand on the duties, which I do with the knowledge that you have been absolutely brilliant over the years and I am sure you will give my successor, Mike Pinckard the privilege of your continued and outstanding support.

Well done and thank you one and all.
Stuart Brackstone
Captain of Stewards
